CD ARTWORK FOR THE IDEA OF NORTH

I've recently been working with the band - The Idea of North on their latest CD artwork. Their music crosses many genres including jazz, pop, folk, gospel and even comedy. Having won a 2010 Aria Award for best Jazz Album with James Morrison. They're back with the release of their eighth album - 'Extraordinary Tale'.

You can pre-order a copy of the CD - 'Extraordinary Tale' and check out the 'Making of & Teaser' clips as well.

It's been a pleasure to work on and and I'll update again once I have a copy of the CD. Release date: 29th July 2011.

GET TRUCKED 2011 EXHIBITION

I will be part of this year's 'Get Trucked' Exhibition.

Get Trucked is an annual group exhibition featuring customised trucker caps. Where artists of different styles and mediums donate their time to create originals works on the caps which are then sold with all proceeds going to help raise money for Cancer Awareness.

All caps will be priced at a flat rate of $60…

Opening night 12th May 6-9pm @ No Vacancy Project Space, Federation Square, Melbourne. Exhibition will run from 8th-15th May

Just had word I picked up a silver medal at this years Illustrator's Australia Awards held in conjunction with Creative magazine. The piece was for online card company: Yellowpostie.com. The winners can be seen online here and will be printed in the February issue of Australian Creative. Thanks and well done to all the other winners.

The tea boxes I illustrated will be in the next Fingerprint book designed by the amazing Chen Design. It's all about hand made elements in graphic design. I have been selected as a finalist in the Illustration category for The Hotshop Awards. The awards were judged by a panel of industry leaders on February 9, 2010.

My artwork titled 'Protector' (pictured) was part of the 13th annual Illustrators Australia 9 x 5 exhibition - Year of the Rat. The auction was presented as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival on Thursday, October 2 at Space 39, 39 Little Collins Street Melbourne. All 9 x 5 originals are available for sale at a reserve price of $195 (inc. GST).
